Masas to increase capacity
Masas Decorative Metal Packaging, Turkey’s leading producer of decorative cans, is planning to install a new printing machine that will almost double the company’s production capacity.
Plans to install a new printing line, for which the supplier has not been decided, follow a sustained period of business growth over the past three years. The company’s output of decorative cans has grown by about 50% overall during this time with production hitting 15 million decorative cans in 2013.
“There are over five companies making decorative cans in Turkey but we are the only specialist manufacturer, while the other companies also make general line and other cans,” explained Masas general manager Mose Levi.
“We will expand our factory next year. We have 9,000 sqm of land, including 5,500 sqm which is covered area. We are ready to double that area – that’s our investment plan.”
