Ball enjoys success at BrauBeviale

Ball says it enjoyed its most successful year at BrauBeviale this month. Visitors to the stand were shown the latest industry innovations as well as Ball’s extended range of cans, bottles and ends, as well as graphics and design capabilities.

Conversations with existing and potential customers highlighted the continued growth of emerging beverage categories, such as tea, water and juices, and the strengthening trend for these products to make the move from other packaging formats into aluminum cans.

Craft beer remains a buoyant category with continued opportunity for Ball, with brewers recognising the suitability of the can for their products, not only because cans preserve the taste of the beverage exactly as the brewer wants it to be experienced, but also for the 360o branding potential that the can provides.

In the stand’s dedicated ‘sustainability corner’, customers were encouraged to recycle their cans via three different recycling chutes, each conveying a different sustainability message, and select which message they felt was of greatest importance. Ball’s sustainability representative, Matthew Rowland-Jones, was also on hand to update customers on its sustainability targets, emphasising the benefits of the can as a recycling champion.

Ana Neale, director of marketing and strategic planning at Ball Beverage Packaging Europe, comments, “This year, BrauBeviale has been a great success for us at Ball. Our interactive stand reflected our commitment to responding to the needs of our customers, and helped us showcase our full product range and innovative offering in an engaging way.”
